A BF Short - Kira's POV

"Why do I love you so much?"

Sometimes, Athrun's musing made him smile. Sometimes, when he felt particularly playful he would tease Athrun in return.

"Because I'm adorable," he would reply with a cheeky smile. Or, "Because I screw you senseless everytime." or he would feign being flummoxed and wondered, "I honestly have no clue, Athrun. Why do you love me so much?"

Whatever Kira's answer was, Athrun would chuckle quietly and resumed whatever he was doing as though the conversation never happened.

Sometimes, it overwelmed him with a sense of being loved it made him feel like crying. Sometimes he gave in to his instincts and hugged his soulmate hard until Athrun begged for release.

Kira has no name for magic that had kept them together through thick and thin. But ten years later, he knew without a doubt that his love for Athrun had only deepened with time.
